AI in the workplace is no longer a far-off technology story. It is already showing up in offices, hospitals, farms, factories, schools, law firms, stores, churches, and small businesses. Workers use AI to summarize information, prepare first drafts, search large files, forecast demand, generate images, automate routine steps, and support decisions.

Today's children will not simply compete with AI. They will grow up in workplaces where people are expected to work alongside intelligent tools. What is actually changing at work?

A simple activity might ask a child to design a helpful robot for a community problem. The parent can ask: What job would the robot do? What would humans still need to decide? What could go wrong? What information would the robot need? This connects automation, robotics, judgment, and empathy without turning the lesson into a lecture.

Another activity might compare two AI-generated explanations of the same science topic. Which is clearer? Which has a missing step? Which claim should be checked in a book or trusted website? This teaches children that AI output is something to examine, not something to copy.
